Martin Amini is a stand up comic based in Los Angeles, California and born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Martin draws comedic inspiration from his diverse heritage, crafting a unique blend of humor that resonates universally. Growing up with an Iranian father and a Bolivian mother, Martin's multicultural background provides rich material for his stand-up routines, creating an engaging comedic experience. In addition to exploring his heritage, Martin infuses his comedy with insights from his own experiences of marriage, offering hilarious commentary on relationships that audiences can personally relate to. Moreover, Martin occasionally plays matchmaker on stage, helping audience members find love amidst the laughter.

    Enjoy great stand-up comedy in downtown DC. Our showcase lineups feature top talent from DC, Maryland, Virginia and beyond, performing on one of the country's most famous stages. You'll see a variety of styles and get up close with some of the stars of tomorrow. Support local talent, support local business and (most important) laugh your a** off. Showcases generally last around 90 minutes.
