Corey Holcomb will perform a stand-up comedy at a funeral if they're serving drinks. And he'll kill. A native of inner city Chicago, Corey's distinctive voice of what it means to be "ghetto" and what it takes to be a player makes him one the most engaging and appealing acts in comedy. No matter how cold his stories of poverty, street life, and women may be, he always warms you with his charming smile, and he certainly leaves you rolling with laughter. Corey hit his first open mic in 1992 when Adele Givens called him to the stage. He was a smashing success and has been a full-time comedian ever since. He has taken top honors at the Miller Genuine D araft Comedy Search, Budweiser Comedy Competition, Chicago Home Jam, and Laffapalooza. He has appeared at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and the Chicago Comedy Festival. Corey's film and television credits include 20th Century Fox's "Like Mike," a recurring role on UPN's "Half & Half," NBC's "The Tonight Show" and "Late Friday," Fox's "Mad TV," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," "It's Showtime at the Apollo," and BET's "Comic View."Other Events

at Capitol City Comedy ClubGarlin is co-star and Executive Producer of the HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Raised in Chicago and then South Florida, Garlin studied filmmaking and began performing stand-up comedy while at the University of Miami. He has toured the country as a stand-up comedian, is an alumnus of Chicago's Second City Theatre, and has written and starred in three critically acclaimed solo shows ("I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With," "Uncomplicated" and "Concentrated"). In 2007, Garlin adapted his solo show "I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With" into an independent film. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival to critical acclaim. Garlin has also directed "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and both Jon Stewart ("Unleavened") and Denis Leary ("Lock-n-Load") in their HBO specials. Garlin has extensive feature and television acting credits. Garlin also has voiced for the Captain in Disney-Pixar’s “WALL-E” and Buttercup in “Toy Story 3.” Jeff also released his book, “Curbing It” (Simon & Schuster) where Garlin shares his hysterical and eye-opening journey to reduce his waistline and his carbon footprint during the production of the seventh season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. Currently, Garlin is on a fall comedy tour and has a local show based in Los Angeles at Largo called By the Way - Conversations With (soon to be released). Guests have included Michael Moore, Larry David, Conan O’Brian, Zach Galifianakis, J.J. Abrams, Lena Dunham, and Jeff Tweedy to name a few. Jeff works with Michael Moore as co-founder of the Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival, occurring annually in Michigan. In Summer 2012, Jeff directed his second feature film, which he wrote and stars in. The film, dealin' with idiots, will be released in Spring 2013. Garlin lives in Los Angeles and Chicago with his wife and two sons. His hobbies include napping.

He has appeared on COMEDY CENTRAL, AFTER MIDNIGHT on CBS, and has made two appearances on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON where he received a standing ovation both times. In fact, his first performance went so well that Jimmy hired him to be a staff writer. He has also written for VICELAND, NETFLIX and BET. He was a highlight at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal as a New Face and was a finalist for Stand Up NBC. Jourdain has also performed at numerous festivals including SXSW, Moontower, Laugh Your Asheville Off, Laughing Skull, and Riot Comedy Fest. Jourdain has gained attention on social media platforms with numerous viral clips racking up millions of views on TikTok and Instagram. His debut Comedy Album “Good For You” can be found on all streaming platforms. When he is not touring he resides in New York City where he is a regular at The Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club.
