Houston native, A.D Hodge born Artrell Sam found comedy at the prime age of 23. His inspiration came from many experiences from childhood bullying to maturing throughout high school and later finding acceptance as a young black man at a popular HBCU. He has hosted and featured in local and out-of-state shows for acts such as Aida Rodriguez, Damon Wayans, Mario Tory, Faizon Love, Tony Woods, and Billy Sorrells. He continues to grow in the comedy entertainment business by attending open mics, festivals, and comedy workshops.
